Biography

Attorney Chris Wilhelm is from Ashland, WI, on the southern shore of Lake Superior. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh for his undergraduate degree in political science. He received his juris doctorate from Marquette University in 2015. During his time at Marquette he clerked for the federal court, and later for a Milwaukee criminal defense attorney.


After graduating law school Attorney Wilhelm became a public defender for Eau Claire County. He worked in this capacity for approximately 1.5 years before accepting a job at Cohen Law Offices in 2017. Attorney Wilhelm is a member of the Eau Claire Bar Association, the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and various committees in the criminal court system.


As a criminal defense attorney, Attorney Wilhelm focuses on sexual assault allegations and matters concerning domestic abuse.



In his free time Chris enjoys exercise, being outdoors, and DIY projects on his house.
