Biography
Attorney Karleigh Miller grew up in a small farming community in Eastern Iowa. She attended Central College in Pella, Iowa, graduating with a double major in History and Political Science. While in college, she spent a semester abroad in Leiden, Netherlands. At Central College, Ms. Miller actively participated in AMTA Mock Trial for all four years. While she was both in Undergrad and law school, Ms. Miller worked closely with the World Food Prize. Attorney Miler attended Creighton University Law School, graduating in 2016 with her both her Juris Doctor and a Masters in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. In law school, Ms. Miller participated in Creighton Law School’s Voir Dire team and Mock Trial team. For three years, she also coached the Creighton University Undergraduate Mock Trial team. In addition, Ms. Miller worked at the Douglas County Department of Corrections in their Pretrial Release Program.
Attorney Miller focuses her practice on OWIs and drug offenses. She works diligently to ensure each and every client receives a zealous and thorough defense. Through her career, she has handled a wide variety of criminal cases. She discovered through her practice that she has a knack for OWI and drug cases and primarily focuses on those areas. Through her background with a Masters in Negotiations, and her willingness to fight for clients, she has found success both through negotiating a resolution or through litigation depending on the circumstances for the individual case.
She serves on the Board for WACDL. She is also a member of the National College of Drunk Driving Defense (NCDD), and serves on the NCDD Committee for Alcohol and Drug Testing Devices. Since 2018, Attorney Miller has volunteered as a coach of the UWEC Mock Trial team. Since 2021, she has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire co-teaching a course on Mock Trial.
Karleigh enjoys traveling and trying new experiences. When she is not at work, she is out and about in the community, or with her family and friends.
